Burlesque performer and absolute STUNNER Dita Von Teese recently announced that she's bringing her 'The Art of the Teese' tour to Australia!

Ahead of her arrival, Dita spoke with Scoopla's Entertainment Reporter Justin Hill and upon hearing about the Same Sex Marriage Plebiscite, she had some words for the LGBTQI+ community.

As a vocal ally, Dita revealed the Australian postal vote upset her saying:

"My first thought was, I can't believe that's not allowed there! ...I had no idea it wasn't allowed in Australia which sums up how I feel about it, it's shocking to me in this day and age that people can't be married to whoever they want.

"You know, its an incredible idea that the government has control over what someone's value is and what they get out of society... if you want to be married, you have the right to be married to whoever you want to be.

"It's shocking that we can still dictate that to people."

When it comes to what we can expect from her Aussie tour, Dita revealed that she will be bringing a NEW version of her iconic martini glass dance... this time, she plans on performing in a CHAMPAGNE glass, plus a Swan Lake strip tease - SAUCY!

"I just like to create big, beautiful, fantastical shows that are dazzling and a lot of focus on the beautiful costumes and production values and really combine all of those things with something (I hope) changes people's minds about what it is to be a stripper..."
