The super popular Skating At Cathedral Square is well and truly back in action… and the best part about today is that it’s joint with a charity.

Skating At Festivals Australia and Variety- the Children’s Charity, have joined forces to encourage people to wear their hearts on their sleeves and get out and about and active with a loved one this winter while raising funds to support children in need.

Today, Tuesday 27 June, $2 from every ticket sold to Skating At Cathedral Square will go straight to Variety.

Throughout the duration of the 3-weeks that the skating festival is open, you can also make a donation to the charity when purchasing tickets. There will also be people out and about on the grounds to collect any donations.

Ice-skating isn’t the only fun that you can do at Cathedral Square, the festival also has a wide range of snow and ice related activities and including falling powder snow and tube ice rides.

There is also music, interactive fun and games and professional ice skating performances.

Don’t fear, you can also enjoy pop up food and drink stalls.
