SA's Sixth Straight Day Above 30 Brings Fire Danger

It's a day of severe weather for South Australia as we head into our sixth day in a row above 30C.

The mercury should reach 36C in the City and up to 39C further out before a storm rolls in this arvo.

Six districts are under a strict total fire ban where hazardous conditions are expected including the Flinders, Mid North, Mount Lofty Ranges, Riverland, Murraylands and Lower South East.

The CFS have been called out to small fires at Sunlands near Waikerie and Wandearah East in the Mid North.

The threat in both of those areas has reduced.

While yesterday, bushfires sparked at Tumby Bay, Grace Plains and Mount Pleasant but were all brought under control.
